CORPS DE BALLET


Pierson Hall found his love of dance at age four with hip hop, tap and jazz.​ At age seven he added ballet, joining the boys program at The Joffrey Ballet School. In 2011 he started at The School of American Ballet and trained​ for six years.​ Dancing children’s roles with NYC Ballet in productions of ​George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake and Harlequinade. In 2017 he attended ABT’s JKO School on scholarship. In 2018 he was awarded a scholarship at Ballet Academy East where he performed Puss n Boots in Maina Gielgud’s Sleeping Beauty. He was named the 2019-20 David Howard Foundation Scholar. From 2020-2022 he attended the Post Graduate Program at Boston Ballet. He performed with Boston Ballet in The Gift and The Nutcracker and with Boston Ballet II as Drosselmeyer in Nutcracker Suite. He also performed Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante for the Rising Stars showcase. In 2022 Pierson was invited to join Carolina Ballet as a member of the Corps de Ballet.
