Carolina Ballet offers group rates, and special rates for essential workers, students and military.

Group Rates

Save on Ticket Prices

Discounts of 20% are available for groups of 10 or more for regular season performances. (Martin Marietta Center Performances excluding Nutcracker) A non-refundable 20% deposit must be received within 7 business days of phone order to put group seats on hold. Full payment is due two weeks prior to the booked performance for all non-Nutcracker performances.

Nutcracker Tickets

For Nutcracker performances, discounts of 20% will be given for all group purchases of 20 or more. A non-refundable 20% deposit must be received at the time of booking to put group seats on hold. Full payment is due one month prior to the booked performance for all Nutcracker performances

Student/Military Rates

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

High school students may receive complimentary tickets to select Carolina Ballet performances with a valid student ID. A ticket may be reserved in advance with the purchase of an additional ticket (i.e. one paid ticket = one free ticket) by calling the Carolina Ballet Box Office at 919-719-0900 Monday through Friday between 10a-5p. If no additional tickets will be purchased, the complimentary high school tickets can be requested on the day of the performance at the Theater Box Office beginning one hour prior to the performance. All seating is based on availability. Tickets reserved in advance will be held at Will Call, and students must present a valid high school student ID or printed home/online school paperwork to claim their ticket. One student ticket per ID. Advance ticket reservation guarantees a seat. **EXCLUDES THE NUTCRACKER**

COLLEGE STUDENTS

College students may purchase individual tickets for $15 – $20* with a valid student ID. Tickets may be purchased in advance Monday – Friday by calling the Carolina Ballet box office at 919-719-0900. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the performance at the Theater Box Office beginning one hour prior to the performance. All seating is based on availability for that performance. Tickets purchased in advance will be held at Will Call, and students must present a valid college student ID to claim the ticket. One student ticket per college ID. Advance ticket purchase guarantees a reserved seat.

MILITARY

We proudly offer Active and Veteran Military a 20% discount on all tickets. A valid Military ID or DD214 with matching photo ID is required when picking up tickets. Tickets may be purchased in advance Monday – Friday by calling the Carolina Ballet box office at 919-719-0900. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the performance at the Theater Box Office beginning one hour prior to the performance with valid Military ID. All seating is based on availability for that performance. Tickets purchased in advance will be held at Will Call, and a valid Military ID must be shown to claim the tickets.

Essential Workers Initiative

Our community would not have survived  the pandemic without the outstanding efforts of our essential workers. In light of this, Carolina Ballet would like to thank them by  offering deeply discounted tickets to essential workers. Essential workers may purchase $15/$20  tickets for select performances for themselves and a guest. Essential  workers that cannot attend the preselected $15/$20 performances will also will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted rate of up to 50% off the current  full price of each show during the 2025-26 season.

$15 tickets are available for:

  • Raymonda Variations on Saturday Matinées
  • La Valse on Saturday Matinées
  • Carmen Suite on Saturday Matinées
  • Celebration of America on Saturday Matinées

$20 Tickets ARE AVAILABLE FOR:

  • Seven Deadly Sins on Saturday Matinées
  • Snow White on Thursday and Friday
  • Beauty and the Beast on Thursday and Friday

Tickets may be claimed or purchased by emailing the Carolina Ballet box office at boxoffice@carolinaballet.com and  including name, address, phone, performance, and either a photo of themselves in uniform or of their employee badge.  Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the performance at the  Theater Box Office beginning one hour prior to the performance with a photo in uniform or employee badge.  Tickets purchased in advance  will be held at Will Call and require a valid photo ID to be claimed.   Advance ticket claims or purchases guarantees a reserved  seat. Promotions do not apply for The Nutcracker. $15/$20 tickets are based on availability.

  • Sales tax and a per order handling fee  is added to all of the above ticket offers.
  • Exchanges can be made  within the current season (September to May)
  • There is a $10 per  ticket exchange fee.
