Stirling Jones was born in Dallas, Texas, and began her ballet training at the age of two. She trained at Royale Ballet Dance Academy under the direction of Angela Sham, Carter Alexander, and Leslie Peck. At age 14, while continuing her training at RBDA, she was invited to take classes alongside the company dancers of Ballet Dallas with Carter Alexander. In 2022, Jones moved to Cary, North Carolina, to join Cary Ballet Conservatory’s Professional Training Program under the direction of Mariaelena Ruiz and Heather Iler. During her time there, she participated in numerous YAGP and ADC IBC ballet competitions, gaining valuable performance experience onstage through classical and contemporary solos, pas de deux, and ensembles. Jones has also attended summer programs with English National Ballet School, Conservatório Internacional de Ballet e Dança Annarella in Portugal, Texas Ballet Theater, YAGP Nervi Festival, Boston Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, The Dallas Conservatory and Cary Ballet. After graduating from Cary Ballet Conservatory, she joined the School of Carolina Ballet for a year in the Pre-Professional Program under the direction of Jan Burkhard and Zalman Raffael. In 2026 she joined Carolina Ballet as an Apprentice.
