Luis Pauletta was born in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and began his ballet training at age nine at Ballet Tech under the guidance of Patrice Hemsworth, Michael Snipe, and Ashley Tuttle. He continued his training at Manhattan Youth Ballet, where he was mentored by George Sanders, Daniel Ulbricht, Deborah Wingert, and Ashley Bouder. Luis later attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, studying under Gregory Sinacori and Michelle Mathesius. In addition, he was a Young Professional with MOVE|NYC|, training under the direction of Nigel Campbell and Chanel Da’Silva. Luis has attended summer intensives at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, Houston Ballet, and Carolina Ballet. He is grateful for the support and mentorship he has received throughout his training and is excited to begin his next chapter as a member of the Carolina Ballet Corps de Ballet.
