Ling Minucci was born in Hunan Province, China, but raised in North Creek, NY. She began her dance training with Robert Maiorano and Miranda Weese in upstate New York. At 14, Minucci went on to study at the Miami City Ballet School in their Pre-Professional Program, where she trained for four years with Arantxa Ochoa. In 2021, she joined the Professional Division (PD) program at Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she danced for two years under the direction of Peter Boal. As a PD with PNB, she performed in numerous productions with the company. Ling then joined Carolina Ballet in August of 2023. Since joining the company, her favorite roles that she has had the opportunity to perform have included the Principal Woman in George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Zalman Raffael’s Book of Contradictions, Liberty Bell in Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes, and the Pas de Trois in Raffael’s Swan Lake
