Deirdre Scanlon began her professional training at The School of American Ballet. She has performed with New York City Ballet, the New York Choreographic Institute as well as The School of American Ballet Workshop. Ms. Scanlon has attended summer courses at Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Carolina Ballet.
