Daphne Little, originally from Los Angeles, began her ballet training at the age of two at Carolina Dance Center in Raleigh, NC. In 2021, following her participation in Carolina Ballet’s Ruth S. Shur Summer Intensive, 15-year-old Daphne was invited by Zalman Raffael to join the School of Carolina Ballet, and she later advanced into the school’s Pre-Professional Program. Daphne continued to broaden her training through prestigious summer intensives with San Francisco Ballet in 2023 and Pacific Northwest Ballet in 2024. Daphne was named an apprentice with Carolina Ballet in August 2024 and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in August 2025.
