Anna Ingold began her training in Riverside, California at Riverside ballet Arts under the direction of Glenda Carhart. In 2016, she studied at the Colburn Dance Academy in Los Angeles with Jenifer Ringer, James Fayette, and Zippora Karz. In 2018, she was accepted into The School of American Ballet in New York City where she trained for two years under Kay Mazzo, Suki Schorer, and Susan Pilarre. Ingold attended summer intensives at Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, and the School of American Ballet. During her time at Carolina Ballet, she has performed featured roles in several ballets including The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, George Balanchine’s Agon, and Zalman Raffael’s Ravel Piano Trio. In July 2024 she performed at the Yellowstone International Arts Festival, where she originated in Zalman Raffael’s The Upward Fall and later debuted it at Carolina Ballet. In October 2024 she performed Sebastien Bertaud’s Renaissance in Abu Dhabi at the Emirates Palace. Ingold joined Carolina Ballet as an apprentice in 2020, was promoted to the corps de ballet in 2021, and to soloist in 2025.
