Drawn to the world above, a young mermaid becomes
enamored with life beyond the sea when she encounters
a human prince. Longing for a life that feels fully her own,
the Little Mermaid discovers that through sacrifice and
the fortitude to follow one’s heart, it is possible to find
one’s voice.

Inspired by Aaron Severini’s alluring original score and
Rebecca Rebouché ‘s striking backdrops, this underwater
tale admonishes that metamorphosis, courage and
experiences come at a cost, yet the pursuit of introspection
is never in vain. A fitting program for audiences of all ages,
we invite you to dive into a magically kinetic realm beneath
the surface.
