Through a joint venture with the North Carolina Museum of Art, Carolina Ballet will once again feature new ballets choreographed
by a diverse group of up-and-coming, innovative artists from across the United States.
Both entities are grateful to serve our community through this series that will enhance, enrich and elevate the lives of the people who live here.
This year's spotlight features original works choreographed by Nikki Hefko, Tiffany Mangulabnan, David Fernandez, and Ted Seymour. The event kicks off with introductions by Zalman Raffael, Carolina Ballet artistic director, and Moses T. Alexander Greene, the Museum’s director of film and performing arts. Curating director Richard Glover will then start a short conversation with each choreographer before their performance.
