Erica Sabatini was raised in Philadelphia and received her ballet training at the Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet and at Miami City Ballet. She participated in summer intensive programs at San Francisco Ballet School, Miami City Ballet School and at the School of American Ballet. She joined Carolina Ballet in 2004 as a member of the corps de ballet.
