Taisha received her training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She began there at age 8 after having danced with Susan Valencia since age 3. She also took summer courses, on scholarship, at the School of American Ballet, San Franscisco Ballet School, and the National Ballet School of Canada. Taisha is currently on leave of absence from Columbia University.
